Do I run on a v bloated stomach (constant)?

I’ve been bloated consistently for months now. I’ve had an ultrasound which was mainly clear but the lady mentioned I may have early stage endometriosis (she said my ovary was v close to my uterus) so will refer me for further investigation.

I also have an endoscopy next week so everything is being investigated.

I just don’t know what’s going to help anymore. I’ve also put on a lot of weight (I think some is lifestyle eg my thighs are bigger) but I think a lot of it is to do with the bloating. I’ve always been petite so it just looks weird.

It’s constant 24/7 and doesn’t seem to change much when I eat.

Thing is, I used to do park run religiously and I have barely been at all this year. I’ve woken up this morning and my belly has ballooned, it feels soft but tight and if I press it it’s a little sore.
I just don’t know whether running will help or hinder the bloating. I keep being in a battle of knowing I need to exercise more, but not knowing if it’s going to make things worse.

Any advice?

Just go and walk/ run and at least you will be outside and distracted. Just off to park run myself 😊. Hope your various investigations are over soon

Definitely exercise.

How long do you have to wait for your follow up appointments? It sounds really miserable.

Sorry you've been suffering with it. Just walk / slow jog parkrun. You'll be done by 10.

I get IBS bloat and run regardless, it helps clear everything.
