Yes but they all have
Butlins and centre parcs have sky rocketed too as have abroad holidays
haven used to be the cheap affordable ones but not anymore!

I’ve never been but was shocked at how much they were when I looked for last summer, I thought they were supposed to be cheap and cheerful.

Weve used Parkdean a few times who seemed cheaper than haven and they were fine.

They’re very cheap in term time, DHs grandparents go sometimes and spend something like £60 for five days. Completely different story in school holidays and weekends. I was looking at sites for the August bank holiday (3 nights) and some were £700+ for basic accommodation.

It’s the same story everywhere though re astronomical rises in school holidays 😫

I’ve recently booked a Haven holiday for the first time, usually do Center Parcs or abroad, and I was very impressed! Less than £400 for a caravan with hot tub on a holiday park in Cornwall in October half term. Couldn’t get a hotel cheaper than that. I appreciate October probably isn’t peak time for Cornwall but still good value I thought.
