AIBU to want to finally live in a finished house?

I want all the cosmetic bits done in the house - panting, minor repairs, door hung, door changed, light fitting fixed
I want the outside painting all done - mainly window frames
I want my DC bedroom gutted, redecorated and made nice
I want the masonry work in the garden sorted
I want a new front door
We NEED a new window
I want our bedroom decorated . not redecorated .. as it has never been decorated

when all that is done .. I want to never have to dream about getting it all done ever again .. I just want to live in a finished house ..

Cost is stopping all these things from being done

What is the main barrier to getting all of these things done? Time, money, energy or something else?

You could do all those things yourself at a fraction of the cost

If money is preventing you from getting those things done then I'm not sure what your asking? Are you asking us for money?

You need to be prepared to do some prep work. We moved into our house 7yrs ago. I still need 2 bathrooms and the garden to be refurbished. All the while I took on extra shifts at work and saved

Yanbu to want those things doing at all.
Cost is very prohibitive but most of those things on your list are DIY jobs and would cost very little to do yourself.
Pick one each weekend for the next month or so and you'll be nearly done.
