How have your kids reacted to the social media thing?

My Dd is still v young and i’m over the moon about the ban and that she won’t get to see all that crap until 16 plus. But how about if you have kids already on it all? Are they panicking?
Also, does this include YouTube? So kids cannot watch until 16, under no circumstances? (i’m very glad of this as hate it!) but how will it all ne policed?

Older two don’t care as it won’t affect them. Youngest also doesn’t care because I’m his parent and I’ll access to things I deem appropriate. As my oldest passed his higher maths by YouTube alone (teacher removed during his year) and middle has taught himself computer programming, I think you tube is valuable when you are careful. None of mine has instagram or snap chat or Facebook until over age 16 anyway.
