I’ve just been in the car and listed to radio 2. Vernon Kay is utterly thick. How can anyone listen to this shite?

God knows. The days are gone when djs actually knew something about music and were doing the job because they loved music. They are now presenters intupted by music

I hate how he gives the travel lady lots of other names. Just use her actual name! It seems so patronising.

I hate that he's so patronising to the quiz contestants, belittling them if they get an answer wrong.
And if he plays any Taylor Swift he bangs on and on about American football. ( I think its that, I've lost the will to live by that point)

The only things I listen to on Radio 2 are Sounds of the 70s and Pick of the Pops (depending on the years). Decent presenters there. I'm sorry Whispering Bob is retiring but Shaun Keaveny is doing a reasonable job as the new presenter. Nobody will ever live up to Johnnie Walker, sadly. Mark Goodier knows what he's talking about on Pick of the Pops. Even the trailers for most of the R2 presenters have my finger twitching over the off switch. I couldn't listen to them. I want music and an absolute minimum of chat in between. The chat has to be about the music.

Oh god yes. He tells them the correct answer as if it's bleeding obvious and he actually knew it himself.
