I have been ghosted by Vinted support

3 weeks ago I received a “brand new without tags” bag from Vinted. It stank and was damaged inside.

I immediately reported it to Vinted. They initially gave a deadline of four days for the seller to provide a solution.

Six days later I chased up and they said two more days.

It’s now three weeks on, the seller hasn’t provided anything solution and Vinted support won’t answer my messages chasing up a solution.

AIBU to ask if there is any way for me to escalate this?

They've ghosted me too, just about stained leggings. Their customer service is shocking!

Short answer : no. I had a problem as a seller with Vinted and nearly gave myself a breakdown trying to get any sense out of Vinted customer service. It is mostly delivered through AI bots who will give you a different answer every time. You do get the occasional message from a human but the conversation never goes anywhere. Save your sanity and let it go

Their automated responses do my head in. At least you can manage to talk to somebody on Ebay.

Have you tried starting a new support chat about it? Same thing happened to me so I started again and got a really helpful customer service agent who resolved it straight away.

I tried this and immediately got the ai bot saying they’re “working” on it

I did eventually get a full refund when my parcel went missing, but it did take 3 weeks and some chasing. Good luck🤞

I've always got issues resolved....but it does take ages. You just have to wait and then you suddenly get a message to say you'll be refunded.

Id just go straight to the card provider if i were you, see if you can do a chargeback!

Hmm I might try this, but it was a debit card. I’ve had success at it once before, but I don’t want my Vinted account to be banned

I am still waiting for a jacket that should have arrived by 22 May. I'm told, by automated reply, that I have to wait until 29th June. So I'm out of pocket and have to presume I will be reimbursed without even speaking to anyone at Vinted. I love using Vinted but we take a risk when their customer service is non existent.

I got no joy when dealing with a fraudulent item. The seller blocked me so I couldn't raise a problem, went through support who told me it had been logged and to be patient. Then the 48 hr complaint period was over and they wouldn't do a thing, despite them saying they'd deal with it.
