To buzz cut my toddler number #5 or not?

Son is just turning two and has blonde hair which seems to start at the crown of his head and grow forward and reaches his eyes.
I contemplated just trimming the fringe out of his eyes but then thought would it look terrible if I just buzzed it at #5 and styled it properly when he was older or would it look terrible?
I have no idea how to do grading so it would be all over on #5 as that’s the longest grade I can find in Dh clipper pack.
I don’t want to regret it.

It will look pretty short initially but grow back fast.

Have you used clippers on him before though? You don't want him to freak out before you've finished and end up with half a grade 5.

Take him to a barbers, don’t be touching hair if you don’t really understand grading etc.

Barbershops do really cheap cuts for kids so I’d take him to get it done professionally and chat to them about options.

I did my nearly 2 yr old sons hair with a scissors a few days ago - a good scissors. Used chocolate to distract him and babe finn. The no 5 all over will look fairly 'sharp' but should soften after a few days. Tonnes of videos online.
