is that what you meant? If so, because despite their placards, they are not actually here to “protect our children” they are here to stoke racial tensions and further an us vs them narrative.

Just thinking, have they ever been protests against a verdict? So like a protest against the judiciary.

As well as the children being under age, there weren't any protest about Ricky Groves either because that's what the jury found

I am what a lot of people would call 'far-right'. I believe I am centre-right, but everything is now so distorted that anyone with true conservative opinions is shoved at the very end of the spectrum.

I am outraged and sickened at the judge's decision. I have no faith left in the judicial system. I think some judges should be tried for treason. What is the point in reporting a rape or a similarly terrible crime if the perpetrators are found guilty but don't even get a slap on the wrist. The poor, poor girls. It reminds me of the rape case in the States where the judge didn't want to convict the (guilty) boy as he was a good swimmer and it would have ruined his chances of being a professional athlete. A disgrace from every angle.
