Have only been taking it for 2 months. But WOW. It has really helped with my cravings. So much so I really feel like I have to post about it. The day before I first took it I felt like a bottomless pit. I couldn’t stop eating (had 3 yoghurt bowls just for the sweet craving). Literally the next day….nothing. The cravings were gone. I bring home leftovers from my lunch at work now!

And it’s been like that ever since. Even right no when I’m due my period.

Not an ad as you can buy whatever brand you want if you are interested. Look for:

Myo-inositol + D-chiro-inositol (DCI)
40:1 MI:DCI ratio

Game changer. Just hope this helps someone!

its a supplement. Not medication. I’m certainly of giving out medical advice

I started taking this recently. Have you lost any weight? I was sceptical but have lost 2lbs over the last fortnight.

I’ve been on a WL journey since the beginning of the year. Sticking to 1400 calories. I’m losing around 1.5 pounds most weeks. 30 pounds down. I can’t say it’s helped me lose weight as I’ve already been engaging in active weight loss (no glp 1). But it’s made my cravings decrease massively.

I’ve been meaning to try this. Thanks for reminder!

Yeah we had better results fertility treatment wise when I took this. The embryos seemed to be better quality than when I didn't use it.

With my PCOS I've never really had food cravings. If anyone ever comes across a magical supplement that has an impact on facial hair though please please let me know.

FanSpamTastic · 01/06/2026 14:17

How do you take it? I have seen before as a powder but was not sure how to take.

Ditto. I worked out how much money I have spent on PCOS facial hair removal since Jan 2016 and we’re talking £15,000 of electrolysis and laser. That’s more than I spend on the hair on my head!

I have them as tablets. Two a day. Quite big pills.

I’m very happy with my Phillips lumea. Use it religiously every month (even when the hair isn’t there). Got professional laser for my face. Go back for top ups. And im probably as hairy as a woman can be (half Indian).

inositol is brilliant, recently I’ve added berberine after reading the positive impact; and honestly it’s really helped curb those cravings (I’m currently take both inositol and berberine)
