Just that really. How do your teens spend the holidays. mine have spent hours on screens despite this lovely weather. What have yours been up to? And any suggestions how to encourage a 'better' half term/holidays in the future (kids are12 and 14) and one autistic no not as independent as your average 14 year old.

My teen has met up with friends and had friends over
hes not into gaming he’s more an outdoors boy he’s been to play some sport/outdoor gym at the park - nothing too much then time with us and his siblings.
his friends mum works at a bowling alley so they’ve been there too

Do your do any clubs during term time? Mine (15 and 16) do quite a few sports so that is their hobby really. They have made quite a lot of non-school friends this way and meet up in the holiday to do more of their sport or go to the local gym.

my issue is wishing they would spend more time revising so we all have some issue! It sounds like yours have enjoyed the holiday doing things they enjoy.

A week like May 1/2 term?

Mine would be away on Scout camp for the long weekend, so the Tuesday would generally be sleeping that off. Sometimes the Wednesday too, but they would also have to unpack and air sleeping bags and the like.
Various 1/2 days would usually have to be given over to mundane tasks like dentist appt or optician, or going to buy some new clothes or shoes after a growth spurt.
Various suggestions by me about tidying their rooms would fend off any complaints about being bored.
When weather was nice, like this week, there's generally be some meet up in the park with mates - just a kick around with a ball or even a walk. Just a way to see mates without too much effort / planning.
Occasionally we might arrange to go an visit cousins or family friend further afield for the day if their 1/2 terms lined up.
The week soon goes.
