Sitting here with DSis - we had both been drinking (me a beer and her wine) post dinner and she got up to get us another drink. I asked for cake and milk before bed. She came back with cake and milk for her also AND a glass of wine and some crisps.

I thought she would have the wine and crisps first and THEN the milk and cake but she’s had the milk and cake FIRST and then reverted to wine and crisps.

I said this was batshit. She said according to me. I said I’d ask Mumsnet 😂

The batshit bit is having milk and wine or wine and milk close together. I can just imagine the volcanic style churning going on in her stomach as the wine curdles the milk.

But to answer your question, I would go wine and crisps for main, cake and milk for pudding.

Those combinations are unreasonable to have together whichever way round you do it!

Ive been known to have curry for breakfast, so may not be best to answer...I say go for whatever you fancy first. Personally i would go crisps then pud but we are all different.

Quite often have a glass of milk for bed, and quite often have been drinking…no ill effects. And quite a lot older than 3.

We have a local dairy just up the road and the milk is utterly delicious.

But I shall report back that we are both being unreasonable / batshit 🤣
