AIBU to wonder if iron supplements can affect period smell?

Not sure if this is strange or TMI but my period this month smelt more strongly of iron than previously.

I have been taking iron supplements for a few months but I didn't realise this would change the smell of it?

I don’t know, but if my period smelled strongly of iron since I’d been taking iron supplements, then it follows that the smell can be attributed directly to the supplements I would think. I know it has other physical effects so I’d say it’s very likely normal. Google it.
