Leaving corporate job for a family-friendly role?

I have young DCs and my current corporate job is not family-friendly at all. For one, they won’t let me go PT or work compressed hrs so I wonder if I am being sensible in wanting an admin-y role that’s PT? How hard would it be for me to get into such a role? I have previous admin experience and I miss those jobs where I could log off and call it a day but I fear I may come across as overqualified. Also how do I justify me wanting to move to such a role to potential employers?

The job market is dire just to warn you
roles like you want are snapped up if they’re advertised - part time admin is a good role for any parent
your employers must consider your flexi working request - they don’t have to grant it but ask them what they would consider

@rubyslippers yes agreed it’s dire but I’d like to think I am somewhat eligible for such roles? Don’t know really. Maybe I need to dumb down CV

What changes has your husband made to accommodate family life?

why are you looking to throw away your career

@Temporaryname158 I’m done with the corporate world. I want a simpler role that’s more meaningful where Im not just a cog in a wheel iyswim. DH has nothing to do with it
