To be put off by their persistence?

We are hoping to get married this year. I contacted a venue and asked for a look around. During this time they contacted me constantly and even asked if I wanted to book the date - before we had the viewing! They will call me at 9am on Sunday mornings just “to check we’re still interested” to be honest we’ve had a cheaper quote anyway and they’re hassling us all the time has really put me off!

“Thank you for contacting us, but we won’t know until we have seen several venues and gathered prices. We will let you know when we come to a decision, and we will reach out to you if we have questions so there’s no need to contact us frequently”

I’d send a message along the lines of the above - they are probably desperate for business or trying to juggle bookings. If they persist I’d send a sharper response.
