AIBU to complain about being hot when wearing a coat

Went into a shop just now. Lady wearing thick winter coat complaining it’s too hot. Why not take the coat off??

It’s currently 26c.

i suspect some people put on a coat on autopilot without thinking.

My friend who works for a supermarket says shoplifters don’t wear summery clothes as got nowhere to stuff their loot.

I think it's as a result of the fact that many people overheat their homes. Going out on a normal day and they feel cold. Plus thd trend of wearing bobble hats. Your head loses a lot of heat so wearing a bobble hat all year round will effect your ability to regulate temperature and make you feel cold

Our local supermarket has the air conditioning ramped right up so if you go in in normal summer clothes your teeth are chattering.

I saw a postman wearing a fleece at midday on Saturday. He's the opposite of posties who wear shorts in the winter 😅

My DP is terrible for this, he'll have on a thick jumper and a coat then get into the car and put the air con on full blast, freezing the rest of us to death because he is hot and sweaty. Really winds me up, 45yrs old and still has no idea how to dress appropriately.
