I'm going to the seaside - might even get into the sea if it isn't too cold! Taking shorts and bikini top and hoping!

Took the DC to Hampton Court Palace today. Had a picnic and ice cream in the gardens, as well as looking at all the exhibitions inside where it was blissfully cool due to all those thick Tudor walls!

I’m stuck at home with 85yo dad (Alzheimer’s) and DH is away camping with his youth group, so I will be mostly pottering in the garden. I’d rather be out somewhere nice, but dad would absolutely hate it, so it’s not happening. I’m hoping DH and I can manage a stolen day out next week when DS2 has a day off work and can dad-sit…and hoping the glorious weather holds out that long!

Just home from the pub. Had a lovely afternoon with family, 4 pints and home. I'm bed now with dogs and some trashy TV

I was at athletics (volunteer) this am then managed to catch the second half of DD’s band in the park. Lovely sunny afternoon.

Tomorrow I am meeting friends for coffee then going Grad suit shopping <gasp> with ds2. The gasp is bc I didn’t think this day would ever come. He’s worried it will be too hot, but I think, air coming shops yes?

Sorry op no barbecue and no wine (on diet)

We are going to walk the dog first thing then drive to a retail park where there is a huge Next to get my husband some summer trousers, then back home to laze in the garden, in the shade, with the radio on.

We've been camping in Scotland this weekend and it has been bliss.
Lots of cider in the sun and had a stroll around harbour and the farmers and producers market before reclining on my lounger near my tent listening to birds. It's been slow, boozy and relaxing.

Ooh. I don't know. Moaning that it's too hot and the neighbours are playing music i dont like and their BBQ smells and their kids keep screaming and they mowed the lawn at 9am which is just...rude.
Oh maybe going out to moan. That theres too much traffic and no parking and its too hot and too crowded and too expensive and why does everyone else decide to go out when I want it to be just me, because its just...rude.
Or in Tesco where's there's no ice and the three for two BBQ stuffs all gone except the minted lamb kebab things that I don't like, and there's a bloke in there without his top on which is so unhygienic and...rude.

Yesterday drank far to much wine in the sunshine, today paying for it, tomorrow Bbq & take dc to the park in the morning before it gets unbearable from the heat. 😂

Staying home. My little boy is not coping in the heat, he's either crying, trying to sleep or asleep.

Dh and teen dd are wild camping and walking (I know, in this heat 🙄 I did tell them), so it’s just me and ds at home. We have plans to go to the garden centre in the morning to buy some new plants and have some cake. Then will potter around in the garden once it cools down a bit.

Went out today but tomorrow I’m definitely staying in and enjoy a quiet day by myself, DP is working.

Long lazy day in the garden reading and listening to the birds. Thank fuck all the neighbours gave their strimmers and jet washes a break. Some lovely far off sounds of families enjoying paddling pools. I’m now sipping a big glass of vodka and cranberry watching the sun set.

I’m working in A&E as an RMN all day today and tomorrow. Judging by how busy A&E has been, it’s not all lazy afternoons in the pub unfortunately🤪

It is really hot and quite uncomfortable too!

Sailing off the Norfolk coast all morning. Late lunch with friends in Norwich before driving home to London.

I’ve barely been inside since Saturday morning. It’s absolutely glorious!

Taking my 8 year old to see 'Wake the Tiger' in Bristol tomorrow, whilst her twin is spending some time with their father, so quiet night for us!

We’re not doing anything wildly exciting. Met some friends with kids at the local farm park/ cafe thing this morning for a few hours, otherwise we’ve just been playing in the garden with DD, had the paddling pool out, I planted some herbs in a new planter, couple of ciders once DD in bed - tomorrow more of the same I imagine. It’s actually been really nice and relaxing - we’re away next week (when the weather isn’t going to be nearly so good!!) so happy for a quiet one this weekend.

Probably stay in bed as usual

My acrophobia and anxiety are bad again so I've been sitting in the garden most of the day. Its been good weather though. ❤️
