To feel annoyed with this

I'm in a hiking club a few years now, in general enjoy it, I'm out regularly and take my turn to lead. I also volunteer for an event in it that's held twice a year. Like everything, some weeks there's more people on the hike than others.

We now have a new coordinator and she's complaining that people aren't volunteering enough and not enough people are hiking some Saturdays - even though that's the whole idea of a club, there was never any pressure to be out every week, people have things on etc.

I've a busy full time job that involves travel, so can't take on any more, but I do my bit to volunteer and lead so feel this is enough. Many are retired with more time. This kind of pressure is putting me off a bit.

She can’t make anyone volunteer time they don’t have on events they don’t want. Continue to do what makes you happy.

The new coordinator sounds poorly suited to the role.
