Is it normal not to have mum friends?

My kid and I don't spend our weekends with any other children apart from some of my family.

Is this normal? How do people organically meet other parents

Yes it's normal. My childhood weekends was with family and cousins ...not other children and their parents
If you wish company perhaps there are some clubs, activities you could try. Good luck !

Yes it's normal around here. Most families have 2 working parents so don't spend much time with dcs Mon-Fri, so weekends are spent as a family rather than with friends. And there are so many interesting forms of entertainment for families now, e.g. attractions, concerts and shows, and it's far easier to do that as a family than to coordinate calendars with other families and try to do it with other kids.
