I have a job interview this morning and I feel sick to my stomach.

At this rate I won’t be able to go because I keep having nervous poops.

It’s a big deal, I have to deliver two presentations to the C-Suite, it’s a more senior position that I’m currently in and the pay rise is worth every ounce of stress. It’s more flexible and it’ll benefit the kids so much if I get it.

My current job is toxic, the people, the environment and everything is made 10x harder than it needs to be due to process and every day I dread doing it.

I’ve prepped the life of out of these presentations but I still don’t feel ready. And I’m so nervous that I’ll go down like a lead balloon during the delivery. I have a massive dose of imposter syndrome.

I really want this job. AIBU to ask for someone out there to root for me!!

All done and the decision hangs in the balance. A few good positive signals at the end about the door is open for me to come back and meet some of the wider team if I want to, and sending on some further info for me to read through.

I feel absolutely drained now! Can’t tell if I’m hungry or need a tequila but can feel the adrenaline crash coming in a few hours 😂

I’ll know the outcome next week.

Im a ball of anxiety, the recruiter reached out this afternoon and said everything looks great, checked in with salary expectations, notice period etc. Said the feedback was positive and they think I’m a great fit.

The committee are getting together in the morning and hopefully I should know after that!

If there’s an offer coming, I owe it all to you ladies for your wonderful advice this morning while I was unravelling!
