if someone was using something at work but you decided that they weren’t doing it how you would or that you wanted to take over, to just take it out of their hands? It was a thing you use to speak to someone over an intercom. Like a little phone type thing.

Is this a reverse?

ShetlandishMum · 19/05/2026 18:43

I would mind my own business.

CharlotteStreetW1 · 19/05/2026 18:43

Yes of course rude.

Unless there's a massive dripfeed coming...

PinkyFlamingo · 19/05/2026 18:45

This is clearly a reverse, just why?!

Ellyyyy08 · 19/05/2026 18:45

No, no drip feed

Really? So you took something out of someone's hands?

Arlanymor · 19/05/2026 19:14

I think you’d get better answers if you didn’t dance around the subject. What did exactly someone take out of your hands and why? An intercom? A microphone?

Jeschara · 19/05/2026 19:14

If you just took something out of my hands I would not be pleased. I would considered you bad mannered and arrogant.

purplecorkheart · 19/05/2026 19:28

OK, was what you were saying correct or incorrect? Was the person who removed from it from your hands more senior than you? Would they be able to speak with the person at the other end if they waited for you to finish?

A walkie talkie perhaps?

@Ellyyyy08 of course it’s rude even if the person is infuriating you with their incompetence. You just have to suck-it-up and wait your turn.
