Are you fighting a virus? Stressed? Eating poorly? Vitamin deficient?

If it carries on, it may be worth asking your GP for some bloods.

Short term, it could just be one of those things and I wouldn’t be too concerned. Have a nap. Mind your caffeine consumption. Don’t drink any alcohol.

If it lasts a month or two, worth getting it checked out. I’ve gone through 2 phases when I was so exhausted I could barely function and needed a nap during the day. One was caused by a vitamin D deficiency. The other was cancer. Both obviously needed checking out when they didn’t get better on their own.

Overdoing it, stressed, depressed, common cold, pregnancy, sleep disturbances, brain tumour, cancer, vitamin deficiency, alcohol consumption, medication side effect, heart disease… etc are all possible reasons for being more tired than usual.

Use common sense and go from there, only you know your body.

It's often one of three things-

Depression
Hypothyroid
Anaemia/low haemoglobin/ferritin.

There are other ordinary reasons like being super busy and stressed. Maybe have a Full blood count test next time you're at GP.
