He's in China at the moment and there was some talk about 'digital lockdown' for his staff who are accompanying him so they can't use laptops, phones etc because of the cyber-security risk. But that's all.

If he was putting the whole of America in lockdown (and for no reason whatsoever) then trust me, it would be bigger news.

Honestly OP the only person I can see spreading this particular misinformation online right now is you. My genuine advice is to step away from the internet and your shitty friend and focus on the real world, connect with your surroundings and detox from the internet for a while.

Anything Trump says should be taken with a huge pinch of salt until confirmed by independent news. He lies and rambles.

It just means that any US staff in China have to turn their phones off / use burner phones. It's because of the concern that China might get into their phones somehow, no idea how substantiated that is, but certainly nothing for us to worry about!
