Does anyone else struggle with self-care when feeling really low

You know when your feeling really shitty so u have one of those showers where you shave and then straighten your hair after? I feel a little better now!!!!
Christ there’s been times where I haven’t brushed my hair or teeth because I feel low :(

Yes I think that is normal, it’s why as much as possible you need to push to do those little things because each one is a win!

sadly when you are down and depressed it is easier to just stay in your pj. It is hard but cleaning teeth quick shower or bath brush your hair can make a world of difference, gently slowly will do it

Yes. Apparently, it's quite normal to do that when you're down (mine does when my anxiety raises its head).

I suppose I'm very lucky in that I don't have an occupation where appearing well-groomed matters, and it's suspicious if you look too clean! However, I'm having a good day today, as I've had a soak in the bath (rather than a shower), I've shaved and coated myself in moisturiser. I'm hoping to do more self-care this next week while I'm off work, as I won't feel rushed, and I'll have to look cleaner than usual! (Or 'incognito' as they say at work, on the odd occasion when I am not in work clothes).
