To want to compartmentalise thoughts

Are you able to do this? how do you do it?

I am worrier and overthinking by nature so if I have a problem or there is any member of the family struggling I tend to overthink things.

I do practice yoga and listen to meditations which helps a bit

Visualise pushing it out of your mind. When I was at my worst I was literally pushing "it" out of my brain every few seconds. But I got better with practice and now can compartmentalise easily. I think it's habit
