I have been asked to host a virtual team event for our global team - Teams based (some people in telepresence rooms together in the office) across 3 x locations. Only 45mins.

Fun / team bonding rather than work based content.

Apparently these used to take place more regularly and boss would like to restart (NB. not a hospital pass to me - my organising is in keeping with some wider objectives we’ve discussed) so most of the attendees have participated before but I have not. The example that everyone seems to most remember most fondly is that during COVID everyone had to guess who’s fridge was who’s from a pic of the contents.

Any suggestions especially if you’ve actually participated in something that went down well / used an app or software to facilitate eg. I know there are some quiz type softwares where everyone answers and then it pops up on screen how many people answered what.

I’d stick with the ‘Guess whose..?’ theme, and ask for photo submissions beforehand of, for example, their desk; their computer screen; their most chaotic drawer; the view from the window nearest to where they sit; their front door/garden

anything like that!

Alternatively, they submit photos of something they own and its price, then you play a sort of ‘The Price is Right’ game guessing which is the cheapest, most expensive etc.
