Can I reject this delivery and get a refund?

Quick one hopefully.

Ordered a medication from Lloyds the chemist, which I have now been given by my GP today. Wasn’t expecting to get the same one.

I paid £60 for this online. If I reject the delivery, will I be able to claim a refund?

The website says medications can’t be returned. But is it different if I don’t take it into my possession in the first place?

Thanks?

If it's been prescribed to you then it's true they cannot resell it. They'd literally have to throw it away. Or dispose of it in whichever responsible way they're required.

So I think refusing the parcel will make no difference. Unfortunately.

Not what I wanted to hear, as I’ve actually ordered from two different chemists, so over £100 in total.

But thanks for replying.

I also think it’s very unlikely unfortunately, as they can’t resell or guarantee that it’s not been tampered with

They’ll still charge you even if you refuse delivery as they can’t re use it. They’re not bound by cooling off etc as it’s meds

Not with medication unfortunately

No, you can't get a refund on medication.

Have you tried cancelling? Has it already been despatched?

so 3 lots of meds in total?

Yes, 3 lots in total. The two I ordered have arrived now anyway. Lesson learned!

Thanks all
