ooh, yes (except I don't actually start the thread, it never ends well). I was at a friends house today who has just started as a childminder, and she showed me the basket she has filled with natural, tactile objects.
I was this close to saying "ooh, a wnaky basket".
Stopped myself just in time. Made intelligent comment about heuristic play. Thought of mn then
