...to think Noddy is a hateful precocious brat

I Loathe Noddy. Dd 23mo loves him with a passion, evn shouts his name out in her sleep

I hate his squeaky little voice and the fact he is about 4 and has his own car and house. But mostly I think he is a stuck-up little turd. Why does she like this crap best?

I don't have a problem with Fifi, Iggle Piggle, Thomas or winnie the Pooh (I find whinnie the Pooh quite restful to watch)

But if I have to watch that foul Noddy person again I am going to scream

We have met him two (twice) but I have to say that in rl he is quite sweet. Tessi Bear is gorgeous in rl too.

Imo he isn't at his best on Milkshake or in his books/dvds. I'm afraid that he comes across as somewhat smug and goody two shoes. Perhaps he hasn't got much self awareness?

Yes he was a little larger than we imagined.

  • get your dcs away from pc for a moment please - in fact someone tried to say that he was a "lady" underneath his costume.

The goblins were very naughty indeed. They pretended to steal dd1 away in her pushchair.

Fizzbuzz - I'm with you. I can't stand him either. There is something sinister about him, and all his Toytown pals. I think Toytown is wifeswapping central and Miss Pink Cat is the organiser.

Well obviously Miss Pink Cat is quite horrible. Although those of you that dislike Noddy might approve of her putting him in his place a little bit?

Mr Plod is a bit of a twit imo. Very smarmy too.

lord i loathe him, the tinkling little prig. and i think the goblins are unfairly stigmatised by the people of toytown. anything goes wrong in that district and suddenly pc plod's staking out goblin corner.

Oh, the Tweenies...they are as bad, just noise and clashing colours...they get on my nerves as much. It is definitely the noise thing....

The Wonder Pets. I hate it. DH leaves the room when it comes on. Silly little lisping voice on that ducking and stupid lyrics that are just nonsense and the fact that it is the animation is just so shite. Needless to say my kids love it.

ive got a friend who took her dds to see noddy, apparently the theme tune 'make way for noddy' was playing the entire time, my god i can't think of anything worse - see, it's in my head now aaarrggh 'shout a big hurray....'

It also drives me nuts that noddy cannot sing in tune. It feels like nails down a blackboard every time his whiney voice starts. My ds loves noddy, grrr!
