AIBU to avoid the 737 Max

AIBU to go all the way down to Heathrow to fly a route on an airbus rather than fly from a closer airport with an airline that uses the 737 Max ?

Depends where you’re travelling from to get to Heathrow.

My DH Is an aeronautical engineer who has worked for airlines and within the aerospace sector. I’ve just posed your question to him. His answer is yes, you would be being massively unreasonable. The software glitches on the max have been fixed and it is just has safe as the airbus. We have flown on a 737 max on a number of occasions with no issues/ concerns.

The issues with the 737 Max have been resolved. Because it had those issues, it’s an intensely scrutinized plane.
