Mumsnetters, I NEED your help! A friend of a friend was given these coffee flavoured hard boiled sweets from Italy. I love them but have only two left. Have asked friends to try and find them when on holiday but no luck, I think I need to know the name/ brand. Does anyone have any idea?

Kopiko?

LucyAutumn · 30/04/2026 21:19

Thanks so much for replying, they're not Kopiko which look like they come in a dark brown rectangular wrapper. These ones are in a little gold foil wrapper and delish!

Kopiko or Sperlari are the most common coffee sweets, but the wrappers in the picture are neither of these. It might just be a generic supermarket brand, as I don’t recognise the wrappers.

The only Italian sweets worth eating is Pocket Coffee 😍😍

Typically candy shops in Italy have banks and banks of this kind of sweet - like a pick n mix arrangement and very often no maker or brand on the wrapper - that would be displayed (maybe, in that very Italian way!) on the display.
There is a brand called Mangini that has something that looks very similar to this but not exactly the same. Good luck in your search.
