AIBU to think getting ready should not be this difficult?

I rashly thought that i had getting ready down to a fine art. Washing accomplished with rarely an incident and choosing which clothes to wear has improved now the wardrobe has been thinned.
But i really thought that applying deoderant would be one of my safer occupations today .
But no.
The newly acquired Mitchum 48 hour spray has no warning to proceed with caution so i innocently just picked it up ,clicked the turny thing at the top and sprayed.
No spray
Clicked it again
No spray
Inspected the mechanism and turned both ways several times. No spray but a barely imperceptible ,babys breath of an air escape.
Finally in a rage i twisted both parts of the top in opposite directions and two things happened.
One was a good spray shot out and hit me under my eye as the parts separated and at the same time my left thumb nail sliced my right index finger .
So now i am left with an overly deodorised face and a bleeding / stinging finger .

Surely life shouldn't be so hard. 😏

You have my sympathy, I am often meandering along with life and then every now and again I do something that makes me feel like a toddler.

For me it’s usually a cooking burn or grating my fingers with the cheese.
