The Austin’s on Tik Tok

Has anyone else seen them doing the rounds on social media? Basically an incredibly messy and filthy two bed house, 5 kids and two adults and she’s just bought 2 indoor bunnies along with a hamster who lives on top of a wardrobe. She says she has lots of MH issues and that’s why she can’t keep on top of the house.

Usually I’m in the don’t judge and don’t leave nasty comments camp but it’s actually infuriating. She continually bleats about the hate she receives but is happy to keep posting presumably because she gets paid a lot. Other ‘content creators’ are capitalising off her by making their own videos about her and some of the comments she receives are needlessly vile but also, why is she exposing her family like this and opening her kids up to bullying. They’ve already had numerous social services and even police referrals because of the state the kids are living in. The bunnies just seemed like rage baiting.

People are weird and some people want to be famous.

FishersGate · 26/04/2026 22:02

She's a narcissist and a rage baiter. Can't stand tik tok at the best of times. The digital footprint people leave for their kids is unbelievable

cramptramp · 26/04/2026 22:04

I wish everyone would stop giving them views and comments so they’d go away. Horrible people. The poor children.

RocketPanda · 26/04/2026 22:04

Probably to generate some sort of income by being the opposite to the MrsHinch types.

Zippidydoodah · 26/04/2026 22:04

It’s absolutely disgusting behaviour, and I wouldn’t be surprised if those children go non-contact with her as soon as they are able.

i started following her on fb a little while back as I am shit at housework too and like a cleaning video, but it’s shocked even me!

There seems to be two camps - those who vehemently hate her and those who are saying awww we shouldn’t be piling on we should support her. I’m not invested enough to be in either but I’m sick of seeing her complain online (she’s now popping up on my fb too even though I don’t follow - presumably the algorithm) and I just think stop posting then! Go off social media altogether. I get that it’s a living for them, I don’t think she works and the dad seems to be in and out of jobs. But at what cost? Her kids privacy and potentially the risk of SS taking them away. It’s insane.

Honestly

I dont mind them either way - theyre an honest portrayal of what mh issues look like for some families

Not all families ofc, but some

I think its just trendy to bash them, and bashing them brings engagement for other people

I dont follow nor engage with them

SpiceGirlsNeedAComeBack · 26/04/2026 22:15

I feel so sorry for her children, she’s literally using her children for negative content! It really is neglect.

flowerpott4 · 26/04/2026 22:22

I generally like cleaning accounts that are realistic and aren’t your typical show homes. But they take it too far. It is neglect and to complain that she can’t cope but then introduce free roaming rabbits to the house seems like rage baiting. I think while she is getting engagement (even hate comments) she will continue because she’s getting paid. But it makes me wonder what life will be like for the kids.

Rage bait pulls in views
Views bring in money.
They know what they are doing.

Exactly this. And pulling the mental health card or at least trying to. Completely disrespectful to those really struggling

flowerpott4 · Yesterday 09:58

I think she probably does have some MH issues but it’s hard to have sympathy when she keeps adding to her problems by having more kids and more pets she admits herself that she can’t cope with.

Exactly - the only way people like this will go away is if you ignore them.
Clicking on their content, even to hate, watch gives them attention and revenue, which is precisely what they want.

Modernfamily2011 · Yesterday 23:30

I’ve seen her on Instagram unfortunately!!
I don’t really understand her content, I thought her purpose was to clean her ‘messy’ house… but it never seems clean or tidy so what exactly is the point?
Her home is disgusting, the cot had actual mould on it
them she starts complaining people are calling Social Services! Mental!

LondonElle · Today 07:59

As other have said it’s rage bait.

She is doing it to get a bigger house and in her mind to better herself and her children.
But unfortunately she has not considered the impact to her children especially as they get older and will be prone to negative comments and possibly bullying.
She doesn’t seem bothered about all the negativity and social service referrals, what seems to bother her now is the fact that because other posters are making videos and commenting about her she isn’t getting the revenue.
I don’t agree with bullying but she doesn’t seem to be able to reflect on her situation and the ongoing impact of it.
