Ford max c - 2017 does it have rear facing tether points?

Darn it, We've bought a new car (to us) and not sure it can accept the tether for rear facing.

Anyone have this car? One side is ok but the other has a plastic bit in the way.

Normally you can either prise the plastic off or wriggle under the runner with a butter knife and then poke the tether through with that.

Yes. We had a 2016 cmax and used a top tether seat (although it was a forward facing high back booster not a rear facing seat. I dont think theres any difference though)

It was down at the bottom of the back of the seat to the side like in this photo (sorry if it takes time to upload)

There is because the tethers have to be on the runners for the front seat with my car seat

You can tether to the seat it's on - Google for instructions on how to do it. That's what I've done with my Axkid movekid in my Kuga.

I don't have that car seat and the instructions on the avionaut say to do it to the seat runner. I've seen it fitted in the front seat but still using the same runners.

Do you know for sure?

@wardobe123 Avionaut are very good at replying to queries if you email them directly. I've done it a couple of times.

I had a 2012 cmax and fitted an Axkid Minikid in it. One of the tethers needed to be poked under the plastic covering the runner which was a bit of a faff but once fitted all good. I think I used a regular table knife to poke the tether through…

Thank you..I don't know why it can't be used in the middle but I need an answer for the morning or else we will be stranded. (Just being dramatic). Thank you

Thank you. Yes I'm sure there will be enough room if the seat can move freely.on that part

Plenty of room and all kiddos and parents are happy with our new car. Thank you everyone
