I've just found out an old Bf has died. There is a fundraiser for Mind. Can we assume he died by his own hand? I unfortunately can't contact the family - I have had to start afresh

I don’t think you could possibly speculate. My friend’s dm died and they asked for donations to Mind. She died from pneumonia.

I'm sorry for the loss. No, you cannot assume he died by suicide . Lots of people support mental health charities.
