To feel that £1.46 for diesel is taking the piss somewhat?

OMG the greedy bastards. surprised anyone stopped there, but suppose sometime you have to pull in when you have none left.

trying to top up when i get down to half a tank, then its not so bad on my heart when going to pay!

Is that true jammi? I thought the tax was a flat rate per litre rather than a percentage.

Duty is flat rate, but there is VAT on the fuel and the duty.

My dad worked for Shell for over 30 years. Every year, as an employee, he was given a few shares, plus more for every decade of service. And of course, he bought some, too, under special offer for employees.

The value of those shares at the moment is truly mind-blowing.

yeah but he could ration it, not have to put the prices up. I know the retailers dont make a huge amount but that is jumping on everyones misery.

Why not say £0 worth per car and that's your lot. A bit of a pathetic excuse, and I would only buy from him if desperate.....and had a bank loan lol
