Is this burrito safe to eat?

I bought a freshly made chicken burrito from a food market at 11am. I’ve been carrying it about in my bag wrapped in foil and haven’t managed to eat it yet due to plans changing. Will it be okay to eat in a few hours time or even tomorrow?

I’d say it’ll be fine in a few hours, and if you put it in the fridge when you get home it’ll be fine tomorrow too. I would eat it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks - I really don’t want to waste it!

Yeah I would cook it in the oven or air fryer so thoroughly hot. And keep in fridge if not eat it immediately. But yeah I'd totally eat it.

I wouldn’t eat it. Chicken shouldn’t be kept out of the fridge for longer than 2 hours, this has been out 6-7 hours? It might be ok but the risk of being ill would put me off.

I usually decide in these situations that my nose is above my mouth for a reason. That said, the spices of a burrito might overshadow any ‘off’ smell.
But, it hasn’t been particularly warm today so I say fuck it and eat it.

If where you are is like where I am, it's been cold, so I would happily eat it - wouldn't on a hot day.

Is it any different to having a homemade chicken sandwich in your bag all day (which I would eat happily)?
