il be doing some Easter egg hunts around the house /garden
Cooking something nice for my family which consists of myself , 2 adults children still living at home and 2 school aged daughters.
We will bake an Easter cake as we always do and children will decorate it
It will be. Relatively relaxing day

Good Friday - travel home from North Devon. We are going there tomorrow for a break in a caravan with hot tub. Unpack, get the washing on.

Saturday - over to in-laws for a roast dinner and long dog walk. Hoping the weather will be ok. Collect my mum on our way home, she will stay the night with us.

Sunday - Easter breakfast of eggs and chocolate, Easter egg hunt for the children. Open my birthday cards and gifts. Takeaway roast dinner (I'm not cooking on my birthday!) and birthday cake for pudding. Most likely a walk in the afternoon. Take my mum home.

Easter Monday - Cinema to see Project Hail Mary.

Really looking forward to it all 😊

Looking forward to a long weekend off work. Going on a work night out on Thursday night. Going out walking on Friday then probably a buffet family dinner. I’m off to a wellness day on Saturday which I’m looking forward to, nicely rounded off by a trip to the pub on Saturday evening 🤣. Family over for a roast Sunday lunchtime then between then and Tuesday morning will probably be overindulging in some chocolate and relaxing (interspersed with various dog walks and possibly a garden centre visit).

Our town is wall to wall roadworks. I’ll be lucky if I move further than the garden . #prayingforgoodweather

I’m working until 9.30 on Saturday night and going out to dinner on Easter Sunday. I’m working 11 to 5 on Easter Monday.

Good Friday: kid adults coming to stay - having a family Easter lunch - lots of food and wine and chilling
Saturday: Chilling then meeting DS girlfriends parents for dinner
Sunday: Easter lunch with my parents kid adults sister and Bil and their kids
Monday: lying in a heap

Not an awful lot which I’m really looking forward to. Had a roast today so may not bother next weekend.

My mother and I plan to take my nephews to York on Good Friday. We've booked to go on a magic-themed tour of central York that's specifically for children.

Other than that, no plans.

MrsMop2026 · 29/03/2026 20:26

A roast dinner & easter eggs. 😂
my mother is coming for a visit a few days after the weekend so chill time is needed for us all piror.

Friday morning meeting Dsis, Bil and DN/N’s for coffee and pastries. Friday afternoon DD, SIL and DGC arriving for the weekend.

Saturday morning we are taking DGC to get new shoes then DD’s and I are going for mani/pedis and then dinner. DH, DS and SIL are on toddler duties and having a take away.

Sunday wider family for egg hunt, coffee and hot cross buns.
Sunday dinner, I’m cooking but DS and DH will help prep and DD is making dessert.

Monday walk around local national trust before they head home. Then we can collapse on a heap!
