Ds refusing all food offered (18 months old)

Up until about a week ago he was a really good eater and now he just pushes everything I offer away.
He doesn’t seem unwell in any way.
Any ideas why he is doing this?

Molars ?
brewing an illness ?

He does have a molar coming through but he’s swam through all his other teeth so I didn’t consider that to be the cause.

When DD was teething we’d give her still frozen peas or sweetcorn, that would soothed her gums and get some veg in, then immediately after give her something more substantial but still quite soft like pasta or omelette and she’d eat it because the cold had made her gums feel better.

My son went off everything except dry bread at a similar age. Check little one's tonsils, teeth, reflux...

Mine did this around this age - after some trial and error turned out he no longer liked the high chair. Got a booster seat on the dining chair and he was back to his food.

Thank you I will try this as he cries as soon as I put him in his high chair now so I’m just poking bits in while he plays as a desperate attempt to get something in him. I think he just wants to get down and play. Thankfully he’s still drinking water.

I’d guess teeth or an illness - hfm can cause blisters in the mouth. Hope he feels better soon.

My DS is 19 months and has gone through a few phases like that. Went back to being a great eater after 5-6 days. It's developmental, don't worry.
