Left until paid…likely tomorrow…this is a good month! usually have less by the end of the month
Both in good jobs-me-university educated, professional occupation. Dh-college educated, managerial position.
We have a mortgage, car, one child, piano & dance lessons, no overdraft or credit cards, but a couple of quite small loans, we never have anything really left by the end

I've had about 83p for the last week.

Exactly this. I know i could stop paying DCs dance and swimming classes (my eyes water every time I see them go out), but they enjoy it, and my mum gave me dance classes and violin lessons even though she was a single mum. I could stop paying for both Netflix and Disney+, but normal TV is rubbish. All my clothes come from Vinted. I don't run a car. I thought growing up that a middle management wage would be amazing, but it gives me only a bit of wriggle room to give DC nice things after bills.

can I ask? Do you have all food and fuel for the week? Is this after savings?

Exactly this. Everyone is different and they have different worries.

FWIW I have about £120 and don’t get paid until Tuesday. I think I’ve done ok this month but it’s not consistent. I’m paying off a smallish debt but no car finance. It will be better by next year I hope!

Don't need fuel. Food is a bit back of the fridge/random meals.

Just realised you might have meant gas/electric. Gas ran out last night. So no more hot water until tomorrow. Just about had enough for a bath last night.

There's nothing at all wrong with someone asking if other people have a low amount of money left at the end of the month.

By your logic no one in the developed world can have any money problems because they aren't living in a mud hut. Newsflash, people can talk about finances and feel worried about their situation EVEN when there's someone else worse off than them.
Now maybe go and do something positive with your day instead of having a go at someone for no reason (yes I understand I'm having a go at you but you were being a bitch so deserve it 😁)
