What is wrong with MEN??!!!!

Moveoutmyway · 23/03/2026 17:10

Obviously not all men but you get my point.

This is the second incident in two weeks. Driving to do school pick up and go down a road next to a school. The opposite side to me is blocked with parked cars, a van appears at the end of the road. The guy sees me driving down but rather than waiting for me to go by he drives up to the middle of the road and proceed to park his breaks and stare down at me with some smug entitled face. He then proceeds to flick his fingers at me, indicating for me to reverse back. I refused to move and kept repeating I had right of way. At this point I was shaking from anger and had my baby in the back screaming. Luckily a lovely (lady) pedestrian came along and said a few words to him. Lone behold he decided to reverse, not after wasting 5 minutes of my time. I hope he got his ego stroked, big man in his big van making a point.

What is it with these stuck up men thinking they own the roads?! Just because you have a willy doesn't make you exempt from following the right of way code.

Rant over.

It's been a hard week and this was the icing on the cake for me. Literally burst into tears and had to collect myself in the school car park before collecting DD. What the hell is wrong with some men?! Seriously, who raised them?!

He’s a nob and I hope a big bird does a massive shit on his van that he has to clean off himself and it gets really dry and stuck on and smelly

I love this. Thanks for the chuckle and cheer up

What's wrong with "men," is that even after all this time, decades after the modern wave of feminism, mothers still haven't trained boys to act like decent human beings.

Yes because it's always a mother's job isn't it? 🙄

God forbid male parents should take some responsibility.

If the woman wants to stamp out disrespect toward women, yes, obviously it's the woman's job, as she has a vested interest. If she can enlist the father's help, great. But it's overly optimistic, like expecting a corporate CEO to cut his wages to benefit the lowly workers.

CosyDenimShark · 23/03/2026 19:58

I had similar last week.

I had driven down towards my estate past a row of about 8 parked cars (obstruction my side). I was 1 cars length away from coming out of them and was indicating right to go in the junction at the end of the parked cars. Another car was at that junction I wanted to enter indicating right.

A transit van and a car behind it came roaring down the road blocking me getting out of the row of parked cars but also blocking the junction I was trying to get into and the other car out of. I just sat there gesturing to the road he had blocked and he was purple with rage screaming and waving his arms around. Mouthing that I was a fucking twat. He then puts his hand on the horn for about 10 seconds. I just stayed put smiling at him.

He eventually mounted the pavement and drove past me!

Entitled wanker.

Have you ever seen the way women behave? Who is responsible for that?

worldshottestmom · 23/03/2026 20:21

What an absolute nob. I hope someone punches him in the face when he next does that, because he will. Though its definitely not just men.

Im really just starting to hate some people in cars in general tbh. Was taking DC to nursery last week and this vile mum always parks on the drop curb of the pavement on a road I have to cross. I go early to avoid her, but last week she was there. I have seen someone in the past confront her about it and she nastily brushed them off and sat back in her clunk of safety metal. Anyway, I make a point of huffing and puffing getting past with a big ass pram and a child on a bike, made the comment to my son "who put that there" while glaring at her.

Come back down the road after drop off, at which point she's normally gone, but no, she's sat there, parked on the drop curb, window down, gawking at her phone. I go around the car, cross the road and crash the pram into the pavement as I was rushing to avoid another car coming. She opens her door and then slams it while staring at me. I just shouted to her "you can't park there mate", while smiling. She rolls her window down and says (nastily) "says who?", I respond "the law. You'd do well to hope nobody reports you" and walked off as she told me to shut up.

I find it quite amusing how some people seem to think that they are their cars. Their over-inflated ego's never cease to amaze me. They're no different to keyboard warriors tbh. You take the car away and what are you left with? Trash in human form.

I highly doubt that man would be smirking and wafting his fingers at people if he was face to face with them in the street. I hate how cars make some people behave, they shouldn't be allowed them doing shit like that tbh.

I still laugh when I remember a man doing this to my mum, we lived in a village with a single track road to get to the last lot of houses, and there was this one guy who always did this but only to women drivers.

Mum was pig sick of it so put a little supplies bag together and the next time he did it to her she waved, smiled, switched off the engine, dangled the keys at him and pulled out her book, a bag of crisps and a bottle of water. It took him a couple of mins of gesticulating and swearing to realise she was not going to move any time soon before he backed up and let her through.

Your mum is a legend 😂😂

EarthlyHeaven · 23/03/2026 20:57

I’ve had one try and pull out in front of me on a roundabout and thought it was funny . I just carried on I wasn’t stopping. The man behind him didn’t think it was funny when he had to slam on his brakes .

BMW6 · 23/03/2026 20:59

They're the ones with teeny tiny cocks.

Actually it's "lo and behold" - 🙂

This has made my day.

SourPenguin · 23/03/2026 21:04

last week I had a guy hit me head on. He crossed to my side of the road. I’d managed to stop and sound the horn before he crashed into me and when he did hit me it was the first time he’d looked up (suspect he was on his phone). He then proceeded to blame me, shout, be generally aggressive and tell me if I had been a man he’d have punched me.
had he just apologised I’d have taken his details and just let insurance deal with it, but his behaviour was so bad I forwarded my very clear dashcam and all his rants to the police who are now looking at verbal assault and driving without due care.

Gagaandgag · 23/03/2026 21:35

Something similar happened to me - I felt forced to do a complicated reverse because be point blank refused when it would have been extremely easy for him. As he went by he wound down his window and smirked “see wasn’t so hard was it” I was enraged but had my 9 and 7 year old in the car so just shouted “take care” in a passive aggressive way 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve just read 3 threads on here about nasty women, so wake up op. It’s not only men. Women can be just as nasty. The worst people I’ve ever encountered in my life were women!

And? The worst people I’ve encountered there’s in life have been men. What’s your point?

PeonyPatch · 23/03/2026 21:45

Sounds like small dick energy

Mischance · 23/03/2026 21:45

This happens on the tiny single track lanes round here all the time.

On one occasion a car came into view coming towards me and there was a passing place right by him at the point where he must have seen me, but instead of pulling in he drove straight at me, expecting me to reverse a long way to the next one which was round a blind bend.

I happened to have a book on the passenger seat, which I took out and started to read .......

MsAdoraBelleDearheartVonLipwig · 23/03/2026 21:48

I had this today. Driving home down a narrow lane. SUV coming the other way flew past the pull in and then met me head on. I sat there thinking ‘wtf, why did you drive past the obvious passing place’ when he started slow clapping. Fucking arsehole. I had to climb the verge in my little hatchback. I wish I’d wound the window down and told him what an ill mannered thicko he was.
