It is probably a cold, but reasonable to call in the circumstances. There are some things you don't take chances over. And I would very much argue that meningococcus is one of them.

OK, so I held off from calling, and this morning we both have have stinking colds. I'd say we're too well for it to be anything more sinister than a cold. I think I was just having a late night wobble, I'm already a bit stressed about DS being so close to the outbreak.
