Morrisons shopping online

Until now we've shared the same account - it's considered the household account... we both log in through the week and add items and then one of us will check out and the other checks it.

Now it needs a code to be emailed and they want biometrics or autheticator app adding.

Now that'd be fine. But sometimes he's busy or not here or any other reason.

This is going to be so frustrating going forward.

I would really get if they wanted to have extra checks before the address was changed perhaps.

Am I being unreasonable or is this just sensible?

How odd, and it does seem like overkill. I use morrisons through amazon prime, which works well.

Are we the only ones who both log in and shop?

Nope, we do the same. So far it still seems to be letting me log in on my phone without requesting authentication, but it'll be irritating if that changes and we can't have 2 different methods of authentication (such as his phone and my email)

Dh, adult ds (on their mobiles) and I (on my iPad and laptop) all have access to our Tesco order ant the same time and we can all add items. I would find Morrisons way of doing it really restrictive.

DH is logged into my Sainsbury’s account to do the shopping. He has his fingerprint saved in his iPad for the ID and that seems to work ok. This sounds like another level!

I was a bit worried about this too, as I’m not a fan of biometrics (or faffing about with verification codes, for that matter!).

The FAQs seemed to indicate that it was optional, so I selected ‘skip for now’ when I next logged in. I’ve just logged in again to check, and it let me do it the usual way - email address and password.

I don’t use the app, though, so I don’t know if that works differently.
