I’ve been receiving parcels to my address for an unknown woman, at first I thought it was a mistake and someone had selected the wrong door number from a drop down menu but it’s become apparent that this can’t be the case as the deliveries appear to be from multiple retailers (car parts and electric fireplace). Two of the items are massive and expensive so I don’t think it’s a typical brushing scam (apparently this involves cheap items only) which is the only thing I’ve found online and I don’t think it can be an identity theft thing as it’s not in my name.
I’m having renovation work done on my house and the builders accepted these parcels not realising they were not mine as obviously the address is correct and I’m having multiple household items of my own arriving too so it went unnoticed for a few days.
Does anyone have any ideas? And what do I do? There’s no retailer information on the packaging so I can’t contact them and I’m not sure the carriers will collect seeing as it’s the correct address.
