I have Phantom of the Opera and Pride: The Musical booked, which are within the next few weeks.

I’ll also buy tickets for Operation Mincemeat and Owain and Henry soon, which are later on in the year.

What about you?

Taking the kids to see Starlight Express at Easter before it finishes, taking my eldest to Stranger Things and then hopefully Cabaret later in the year for my birthday

Locally im hoping to take my mum to Mamma Mia, going to Mean Girls and Operation Mincemeat and may take the kids to see Annie as it was my favourite as a child

Last show I saw was Buddy a couple of weeks ago

I won tickets to see Annie a few years ago when it toured locally. It was so fun! Cabaret has been on my to-watch list for years, but I keep putting it off.

Hamilton (again!) with Leslie’s stint in the west end if we can get tickets. Hadestown in London and Waitress in Edinburgh. Add to this, 8 concerts and we have a very busy summer!

CactusRabbit · 07/03/2026 13:04

I've got a 2 show day coming up where I'm seeing Stranger Things and then Bettlejuice! I would love to get tickets for Leslie in Hamilton, but I'll be working when tickets are released, so probably won't happen....

17CherryTreeLane · 07/03/2026 13:05

I’m going to Mathew Bourne’s The Red Shoes in April. Can’t wait!

PermanentTemporary · 07/03/2026 13:08

Going to the Headlong touring production of Midsummer Nights Dream in March. Everyone who’s seen it has told us they loved it.

Seeing an outdoor Othello in June by the Lord Chamberlain’s Men.

I've seen it twice. It's amazing.

Beebopwasthebest · 07/03/2026 13:17

I really want to see Moulin Rouge and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Such a faff getting to and staying in London though

Igmum · 07/03/2026 13:18

We go at least a couple of times a month. On our way to see Mean Girls now. Operation Mincemeat was brilliant. I love the theatre (it is also something I can do with a teenage daughter 😀).

carboneltthecat · 07/03/2026 13:20

Hamilton (again!) with Leslie’s stint in the west end if we can get tickets - same.

We've got Cats at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre booked as well, fingers crossed for nice weather!

I really want to take DD2 to see Paddington, but the tickets are just too expensive at the moment. Hopefully it'll go into one of the kids weeks sales at some point.

Sidebeforeself · 07/03/2026 13:21

Ive already seen Ballet Shoes this year.Going to see Operation Mincemeat in Sept. Usually go several times a year but there isn’t much on that I fancy at the moment.

domenica1 · 07/03/2026 13:22

Also hoping to get Hamilton tickets for the summer session. Last saw the OG London cast so it’s been a while!
I have lots in the diary but first up I’m going to see Arcadia again before it closes and Dangerous Liaisons at the NT.

ilovesooty · 07/03/2026 13:24

Went to see The Murder Trial last night.

I hear you. I’m seeing Phantom in the West End, but it’ll only be the third time I’ve seen a West End show.

I usually wait for the touring productions, so I can see them locally. I’m sorry to say I’ve missed Hamilton and Red Shoes, so will have to wait even longer!

Going to see Oliver! In London

Other than that- lots id like to see but will keep an eye out for more local theatres.

StupidCanadianWolfBird · 07/03/2026 13:27

My husband got me tickets to see Beetlejuice for Christmas. I’m so excited Ive been waiting for it to come to London for years 😁

SP2024 · 07/03/2026 13:30

Ballet shoes was the last thing I saw. And before that Mrs Doubtfire. I’d like to see 1536 and woman in mind. Also would like to go the lion king with the kids

pinkmustard · 07/03/2026 13:31

Saw Operation Mincemeat recently and it’s fantastic!

ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 07/03/2026 13:31

I'm going to see Tom Chambers in Morse - House of Ghosts. It is touring. I'm seeing it at The Lowry in Salford.

ohyesido · 07/03/2026 13:32

I always wanted to see 2.22 but never got around to it

Miranda65 · 07/03/2026 13:33

Arcadia is my next one. Then The High Life in Glasgow in May, Grace Pervades in London in June (plus others in the summer, tbc).
I've even cracked and booked Paddington for November.

I've also been very impressed with the RSC's programme this year, so I have The Tempest, The Cherry Orchard, As You Like It and Middlemarch (in 2 parts!) all booked.

The touring version of Operation Mincemeat is fantastic - recently sold out The Lowry.

Finally, if anyone is in the North West, I can highly recommend Two by Jim Cartwright which had its first preview at Shakespeare North last night.

DataColour · 07/03/2026 13:35

@Miranda65 saw Road by Jim Cartwright last night at the Royal Exchange in Manchester, very good! I'll check out Two, thanks for the recommendation.

Went to see The Murder Trial last night.

We did one of these a year ago. Bloke collapsed before it started and they had the paramedics in. We thought it was part of the show until they cleared us out! The show was brilliant though.

It was pretty average tbh but then that kind of material is not really my cup of tea

Lorrymum · 07/03/2026 13:44

Booked tickets for Jesus Christ Superstar with Sam Ryder in July. Also seeing my favourite writer, David Sedaris reading at Royal Festival Hall the following day.
