I keep seeing adverts for this everywhere, multiple times a day it pops up on my Facebook - I’ve seen it mentioned on here a few times too - anyone tried it and is it worth me trying it?? I’m 45 and IMO look about 60 so the advertising is working its magic on me 🙄

I've been using it mostly for my joints (and it appears to be helping), but I've seen a slight improvement in my skin too. It's honking though - I drink it in warm Ribena because I can't bear to bastardise my coffee with it in the morning!

BengalBangle · 03/03/2026 12:03

It has done absolutely nothing for me, sadly. I'm 46 and look 127.

Moveyourbleedingarse · 03/03/2026 12:05

I've just bought some collagen capsules off amazon in case you don't want powder there are other options.

Have a look at lynette ewert on insta. She thinks it's a load of nonsense. I got mine for my joints after the article in the times last week.

I’m about to start Ancient & Brave True Collagen ( as suggested by someone doing PhD research into collagen for joints etc not beauty), so will report back if I miraculously look younger too.

i have tried it and didnt feel like i benefitted so just bought tablets. Plus they say that it doesnt taste of anything all i could taste was animal fat in my brew it was awful. However i have found the magnesium tablets good to help with cramp and sleep

So it sounds a bit of a con so far? I’ll hold off for now!

From https://www.bbc.co.uk/future/article/20250214-do-collagen-supplements-work

Overall, many marketing claims made about oral collagen products don’t stand up to scrutiny. In the European Union, "no health claims for collagen supplements have got the green light," explains Leng Heng, a senior scientific officer for human nutrition at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

Collagen supplements: The secret to perfect skin, or marketing hype?

Collagen supplements might make your skin more elastic – but the evidence is weak.

I'm the opposite to everyone on here, I find it really great. Ive seen improvements in my skin and nails and had random compliments. Yes you can taste it slightly (I have it in my coffee) but you get used to it. I'm waiting on my 3rd batch being delivered.

NewYearNewMee · 03/03/2026 12:28

I use it and love it - it also has absolutely zero taste in coffee / tea (the powder I’ve been trying!).

HolyMoly24 · 03/03/2026 12:31

My mam has seen a lot of improvement in the skin around her eyes but no improvement in her joints which is what she wanted it for.

I’ve been using it alongside their biotin supplement for 3 weeks now but I haven’t noticed any difference. Probably too early to tell.

I add it to my porridge because mixed into tea was awful and I like to actually enjoy my cuppa.
