AIBU to think changing bedding really makes a room feel different?

I’ve been trying to make our bedroom feel a bit more put together without spending loads. We can’t really replace furniture at the moment, so I was wondering if just changing the bedding actually makes much of a difference?

It sounds minor but I feel like the room looks tired and I’m hoping a new set might freshen it up a bit. Has anyone done this and found it actually changed the feel of the space, or am I just overthinking it?

I think so. I've definitely noticed a difference when I swap from a dark duvet cover to a light one.

Plus you get clean bedding joy. It's such a physically big thing I think it gives quite a lot of payback for a relatively small outlay.

Yes, I changed the bedding and curtains and it feels like a different room. It really needs decorating and the furniture is totally the wrong colour but I love it now!
