La Molina Ski holidays

Looks like there are good deals for a ski holiday in La Molina, Spain.

People we know have said there’s very little natural snow and that there’s not much happening in the village after about 17:00. We are a family of 4, all beginners.

My dh and I are big foodies and really want to enjoy lovely Spanish tapas and good meals while we’re away, is the food/catering any good there?

Has anyone been and if so would you recommend?

I’ve just had a look at the snow report for La Molina and there is basically no snow there at the moment. Meanwhile there have been record snowfalls in the Alps.

Going skiing somewhere with no snow is not going to work!!

That's disappointing to hear.

Well there’s often a reason for good deals!

On the other hand because there has been so much snow in the Alps, there may be some good deals there - perhaps in smaller lower resorts that often don’t have snow but do at the moment. If you’re beginners you don’t need big resorts which tend to be pricier. When are you able to go? An agent like Ski Solutions or Alpine Answers or Iglu could potentially find you a good deal.

I was hoping to combine it with a couple of days in Barcelona too.

Hopeful bump
