I did a favour for our lovely neighbours recently and they gave us an expensive bottle of wine as a thank you, which was nice. Usually I’d put it on our wine rack and leave it for ‘best’ or special occasion and forget about it but decided just to open it on a rainy Wednesday. It is lovely and I’m determined to not keep things/gifts and then never use them. Live in the moment and enjoy what comes our way. Anyone else?

To be generally nicer, if I’m honest!
A car nearly went into the side of us the other day and my husband beeped, the car slowed down to meet our window and I remember saying to my husband ‘be prepared for an argument here’ and the man rolled his window down and apologised!
It took us by surprise and actually put us in a good mood! So be more like that random man and less like me who was ready for a kick off

Similar to @Daisylove1 , I made the decision a few years ago that whenever I get in to my car (on any length of journey) I will remind myself that I’ll inevitably have to deal with some appalling driving (not me, obvs, I’m a wonderful driver😜).

If I then do have to cope with someone’s crap driving I tend to feel satisfied in an ‘I knew it!’ sort of way, rather than ending up ranting and raving, which is no good to anyone.
