So I have a few items to sell and I know item
is good and I use it myself to purchase, however my issue is selling as i don’t have a printer to print off the address label so whats a really easy way (is there one?) to just simply view the address so i can write it down. Also again im sure ill have to secure a postal stamp on as buyer will pay for purchase obvs, but issue of no printer

anyone able to help at all please? I need it on easy baby steps/language, I’m pretty useless with apps

I’m not sure if it applies to Vinted, but you can normally select print, then a box appears with the printer name in.

As you don’t have one, you can click on the drop down arrow at the end and then the option to print to pdf should appear.

You can then send it to your files on your phone. So you can open and read it.

You can do digital labels, so no need for a printer

hotchocdrinker · 18/02/2026 18:00

If you choose to ship via Royal Mail or In Post then there is an option to click to say that you don’t have a printer. For royal mail you will then be emailed a QR code to show at the post office and they will print off a label to put on the parcel. I think it’s the same system at In Post (but I’ve never used it).

choosr Royal Mail , evri and inpost as your postage . All of these offer printer less postage options.
also local libraries usually give you free internet use so you can log on and access your account /emails and pay for any printing . Probably 20.30 pence per sheet .

bugalugs45 · 18/02/2026 18:00

I don’t have a printer So have my postal settings set to only those that I can print a label in store, or inpost lockers that go to another locker ( rather than home delivery )
I currently use EVRI as my local shop has a printer ,
And a different local shop does yodel, they send you a barcode and you scan that and label prints automatically .
Its more a question of finding out what your local shops cover , as you don’t want to be driving all over the place to post parcels

My options , but as I said check how far the drop off points are .

On the app go to settings, then postage. Choose the service you want buyers to choose. For me that’s InPost and Royal Mail as no EVRI near me.

I choose shop drop off and delivery. It means you take the item to the shop all wrapped but with no label. They scan the barcode Vinted have sent you and the shop prints the label. Or you can drop off at InPost lockers?

anon2022anon · 18/02/2026 18:04

Vinted is set up so unless you want to, you don't need to print a thing.

Go into the postage settings, and select whatever options are close to you (Evri, Royal Mail, in post, DPD) and turn off those you can't get to.

When someone buys an item, they choose which of the providers they want to use.
You click ' get shipping label'
It gives you the option of printable label or digital label, choose digital.
It will bring up a QR code to scan at the Evri shop, the post office or the drop off lockers.
I screenshot this, so that if I don't have a signal I have it saved to scan at the office

elevenpiperspiping · 18/02/2026 18:06

I only do inpost (not home delivery) no label needed or Royal Mail or Evri as they print label at locker/in store for free. I’m lucky that all of these are about half a mile from me.

RS1987 · 18/02/2026 18:06

In settings you can choose only no-printer options, see what delivery services are near you. For example, I have an Inpost locker at my local Lidl so I only have that as an option - then you just take it and scan the code on your phone.

Lol, things have moved on massively.

The buyer buys the label, the seller can generate a digital label which can be used at Royal Nail, Evri, InPost lockers, depending on what the buyer selected.

No one needs to print anymore.

Thanks so much everyone and I have just changed my settings to Royal Mail and evri which I know are local to me. Fingers crossed I make a sale now lol

You can't write the address on and buy a stamp as it won't register as sent. Like others said, you can select non print options from settings in the app. Check if your local evri shop can print labels though, printer is always "broken" at mine so I've switched Evri off.
Inpost to locker doesn't need a printer but Inpost to home does, so you'd need to disable that option. Royal Mail and DPD are non printer.

daysfilledwithdappledlight · 18/02/2026 18:20

You can normally do digital labels. Worst case if you need something printing can use the local library?

moonstarsuns · 19/02/2026 16:23

Ok so I’m back for another question. Someone has bought an item from me, I’ve gone to print label digitally and got the bar code etc ready to show in the drop off place, but do I need to press anything else on the app to get paid? Or once I have hit print label everything is that it done?

Nope ,
the app will tell you when the recipient has the item , then they have 48 hours to report an issue , others you will be paid automatically . If they click ‘ everything is ok ‘ you’ll get paid as soon as they do that straight into your Vinted balance .
in experience about 50% of buyers wait for it to auto complete so ( annoyingly ) you’ll wait 2 days after delivery to get your money .

moonstarsuns · 19/02/2026 17:33

@bugalugs45 thanks so much
