On my 6 year olds foot. It’s not going away.
Before bed tonight she complained it hurt a tiny bit.

Do you have a clearer photo?

BigOldBlobsy · 16/02/2026 22:53

Could it be a verruca?

PeachPlum97 · 16/02/2026 22:54

Is this better?

I'd say verucca. Unless you're about to say you're actually in Australia or similar, then I'd be getting her seen in case it was a bite.

Keepingthingsinteresting · 16/02/2026 22:55

Looks like a verruca to me. Take it to spooners corner, they are great at this stuff.

Rockfordpeach · 16/02/2026 22:55

Verucca

PeachPlum97 · 16/02/2026 22:56

Thank you. Will have a look. I wonder if she got it at swimming lessons?

TheWibble · 16/02/2026 23:06

Yes, I'd say it's a verucca too.

Pieceofpurplesky · 16/02/2026 23:11

A verucca. You can see the little black roots on the second photo

Mooselooseinmyhoose · 16/02/2026 23:13

Off topic but.. what happened to verrucas?? Im sure when we were kids people used to get loads. There was always a kid at school swimming lessons in a "verruca sock" and everyone i know had one at least one.

Apart from this post (which i agree looks like a verruca), I havent heard of them in years. My kids have never had them!

Were we just a particularly infectious generation?!

JohnTheRevelator · 16/02/2026 23:15

Looks like a Verruca. Keep it covered as they are very contagious!

Yes, I never really hear about them now. She does do swimming lessons and I heard they have been doing PE bare foot so I guess she must have got it from one of those!
